Atelopus varius (Bufonidae)

Formerly known from over 100 localities in Costa Rica this species is now known only from one remnant population in Costa Rica and several in Panama. 

IUCN status: Critically Endangered.

Ptychohyla spinipollex (Hylidae).

Known only from the Cordillera Nombre de Dios, Honduras, where threatened by subsistence agriculture.

Bufo leucomyos (Bufonidae)

Occurs only on the north-central slope of Honduras where populations are severely fragmented and declining.

Eleutherodactylus aurilegulus (Leptodactylidae)

High elevation populations of this Honduran species have severely declined over the past 15 years.
